Haiti: Last year, your investment of $62,725 enabled OPODNE to serve 13 communities, train 500 leaders, engage 5000 in community improvement activities like road building, tree planting, clean-ups, and teacher training, and sustain 3 economic development cooperatives, 5 computer training centers, and much more in the poorest communities of Northeast Haiti. Francois Pierre Louis is Director of PICO Haiti. OPODNE is a government-approved NGO in Haiti.
Rwanda: Last year, your investment of $56,027 enabled PICO-Rwanda to serve six communities, train 300 leaders, engage 3000 people in improvement activities – like providing electricity, planting trees, and sustaining 4 economic development cooperatives – build a school, a disease prevention center, and 2 new houses, and much more for Rwanda’s poorest communities. John Rutsindintwarane is Director of PICO-Rwanda. PICO-Rwanda is a government approved NGO in Rwanda.
