Women’s co-op in Mombin Crochu, Haiti

“We organize child care for 200 women in our village so we can go to market and sell our produce. We use small loans from our cooperative to buy beans, rice and other goods in bulk and sell to make a profit so we can pay school fees for our kids.” Beauzelaine Joseph, OPODNE Mombin Crochu leader

Last year the cooperative operated a micro lending program, fixed roads, provided education on cholera, and started a goat-breeding project. Next year they hope to restart their sorghum cooperative.  Please join our year end campaign. Every dollar you give will be matched.
