Meet Jose, Gabriela and Karanganwa—PICO Leaders Making a Difference and Changing Lives

Thanks to friends like you, PICO International is empowering hundreds of grassroots leaders help their communities.

Jose Adrien and 130 neighbors started a peanut cooperative in Capotille, Haiti to earn money and feed their families.

Gabriela Ventura and 60 young people in La Paz, El Salvador are learning how to organize their peers to find alternatives to gangs and violence so they won’t have to flee to save their lives.

Karanganwa Malindogo and his neighbors in Rusumo, Rwanda are building a community clinic that will save lives by providing public health education, family planning services,  and treatment for AIDs/HIV, malaria and other infectious diseases.
