Fall Update from Central America: Youth organize for jobs and safety

In their first action, 350 youth launched the “More Employment and Less Violence” campaign. After sharing stories about these issues, they turned to political leaders from the La Paz to sign a pledge of support. The Mayor of Zacatecoluca promised to identify resources for jobs. This action was organized by 60 youth leaders who participated in the COFOA “I am a leader!” training seminar.  Youth organizing is possible thanks to Patty Lawless and Project Salvador.
